What’s new
What changed in the app, version by version. The newest version is the one on Google Play.
Version 4.3 Current
- Place names in the language of the app, with the local name alongside: Vienna · Wien.
- Places you have saved are renamed when you switch the app to another language.
- A small flag next to the country in search results and on the map.
- Fixed: around the switch to and from summer time the forecast could show one date twice and skip the last day.
Version 4.2
- A strip of days at the top of the day detail, each with its weather icon and temperature range: scroll it and tap any day to jump there.
Version 4.1
- Pull the forecast card down to unfold it; the remaining forecast days unfold underneath.
- Precipitation for every day of the forecast.
- Precipitation in millimetres or inches, wind speed also in knots.
- Tapping a city on the map makes it the selected place.
Version 4.0
- Forecast for the next nine days, shown next to the same dates a year earlier.
- A new look: cleaner day detail, colour-coded temperature range, one “Day” timeline from the first hour to the last.
- Pick a different place straight from the day you are looking at, with nearby places one tap away.
- A new map for browsing what you have searched before.
- Archive days are labelled “Archive” with a note on where the data comes from.
- Wind gusts dropped from the forecast detail; they said little and took space.
Version 3.0
- Every day hour by hour, not just a daily summary.
- Search history grouped by place, with a map of everything you have looked up.
- Temperature in °C or °F.
- The app in more than twenty languages.
