Terms of Use
Weather History is free to use. These terms say what it promises and what it does not.
The data
Weather data in the app is for information only and may differ from the conditions actually recorded at any particular spot. No guarantee is given about the accuracy of historical weather data, and use of it is at your own risk.
The data is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
Historical data comes from reanalysis, not from a weather station reading at the place itself. How it is produced and where to expect differences is explained on the page How accurate the data is.
Availability
The app is served by a free, non-commercial weather API with a daily usage limit. When the limit is reached, historical lookups stop working until it renews. There is no guarantee of uninterrupted service, and no liability for functionality lost to those limits.
Liability
In no event will Skriw be liable for any damages whatsoever, including direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, arising out of the use of or inability to use the app or its weather data, even if the possibility of such damages was known.
Money
Weather History carries no advertising, no sponsored content, no subscription and no paid features. Donations are entirely voluntary, buy nothing, and unlock nothing.
Changes
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the app after a change counts as acceptance of it.
